§ 72.07 STOPPING AFTER ACCIDENT.
It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle which has collided with any vehicle, person or property, in such a manner as to cause injury or damage, to fail or refuse to stop immediately; to render such assistance as may be possible, to give his true name and residence to the injured person or the owner of the property damaged, and to a police officer if one is present. A report of each such accident shall be given by the driver of each vehicle concerned in it to the Police Officer within 24 hours after the accident.
