The following enumerated sections of 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes, prescribing traffic violations, exclusive of any provisions thereof relating to the penalties or punishment to be imposed for violation of such sections, are adopted and by reference made part of this code with the same force and effect as though set forth herein; any and all violations hereof shall be considered violations of this traffic code and each such violation shall subject the violator or violators thereof to the penalty prescribed in § 70.99 of this chapter. Further the section numbers of 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes, are hereby adopted as section numbers of this traffic code and may be cited as such.
