It is unlawful for any person other than a duly authorized law enforcement officer in the discharge of his or her official duties to use, fire, or discharge any rifle, shotgun, handgun, revolver, pistol, or other firearm within the corporate boundaries of the city, subject to certain exceptions set forth in this subchapter.
