(A) The purpose of this subchapter is to define the authority of the City of Lincolnton (hereinafter the “city”) in the elimination of all cross-connections within its public potable water supply.
(B) This subchapter shall apply to all users connected to the city’s public potable water supply regardless of whether the user is located within the city limits or outside of the city limits.
(C) This subchapter will comply with the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act (P.L. 93-523), the North Carolina State Administrative Code (Title 15A, Subchapter 8C), and the North Carolina State Building Code (Volume II) as they pertain to cross-connections with the public water supply.
