826.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; DEFINITIONS.
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for any food truck to operate in the City without first obtaining a license therefor from the City Clerk.

   (b)   Definitions.
      (1)   “Food Truck” means any motorized or non-motorized vehicle, trailer or other device designed to be portable and not permanently attached to the ground from which food is vended, served, displayed or offered for sale.
      (2)   “Food Truck License” means an annual license must be obtained by all food trucks to operate within the City.
      (3)   “Food Truck Location Permit” means authorization for a licensed food truck to operate on private property or public property not included in a designated Food Truck Zone. A letter of permission from the property owner must be presented at the time of application. Regulations for these permits will be subject to safety requirements from the Building & Fire Departments.
      (4)   “Food Truck Zone” means an area of City-owned property designated by the Council, where licensed food trucks are allowed to park and operate without obtaining a location permit.
