1486.10 ADDITIONAL DUTIES OF OPERATORS OF PREMISES.
The operator of premises shall have the following additional responsibilities:
   (a)   Sanitation. All parts of the premises under the control of the operator shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. He or she shall refrain from performing acts which would render other parts of the premises unclean or unsanitary or which would obstruct the owner from performing any duty required under this chapter or maintaining the premises in a clean and sanitary condition.
   (b)   Willful or Malicious Damage. Every operator shall be responsible for damage to any part of the premises which he or she may cause willfully or maliciously.
   (c)   Notices of Defects. Where the owner would not otherwise know of a defect of any facility, utility or equipment required to be furnished under this chapter, and the same is defective or inoperative, each operator affected thereby shall, upon learning of the defect, provide notice to the owner or person in charge of the premises. Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to provide a defense to any owner or operator violating this chapter.
