The areas of special flood hazard have been identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in a Flood Insurance Study (FIS) entitled “Wayne County, Michigan (All Jurisdictions), dated October 21, 2021." This study with accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Boundary-Floodway Maps, panel #s 26163CIND1C, 26163CIND2C, 26163C00407F, effective October 21, 2021 and 26163C0264E, 26163C0268E, 26163C0402E, 26163C0406E, effective February 2, 2012, are hereby adopted by reference for the purposes of administration of the Michigan Construction Code and declared to be a part of Section 1612.3 of the Michigan Building Code and to provide the content of the “Flood Hazards” section of Table R301.2(1) of the Michigan Residential Code. Pursuant to the provisions of the state construction code, in accordance with Section 8b(6) of Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, Appendix G of the Michigan Building Code shall be enforced by the Office of the Building Superintendent for the City of Lincoln Park, Wayne County, Michigan. Such study is on file in the office of the Superintendent of the Building Department.
