No alarm system shall be installed in the City unless the quality of the equipment is Underwriters Laboratory approved or similarly comparable to equipment generally accepted to be of good quality and performance in the alarm industry. The installation of the alarm system and the equipment shall be subject to inspection and approval of the Building Department once the system is installed.
