1040.07 ERECTION OF POLES, STRUCTURES AND TRANSMISSION LINES.
   All poles and structures for power or communication transmission lines erected under a permit granted pursuant to this chapter shall be firmly set in the ground so as to cause the least obstruction. Such poles and structures shall be erected in such manner and shall be of such uniform height, size, color and material as approved by the Superintendent of Public Works. The number of crossarms, the minimum distance of the same from the surface of the street and the proximity of different wires to each other and their arrangement, including guy wires, etc., shall be approved by the Superintendent for the purpose of protecting the public safety.
