No person to whom a license is granted under this chapter shall receive, possess, give away, sell or have upon the premises any vinous, malt, brewed, fermented, spirituous or intoxicating liquor, or any beverage which contains any alcohol, except for medicinal, mechanical, chemical, scientific or sacramental purposes in compliance with statutes of the State.
