As used in this chapter:
(a) "Kiddie land" means an area within which one or more kiddie rides are operated.
(b) "Kiddie ride" means a device, including an animal, which is operated out-of-doors primarily for the purpose of giving rides to children who are twelve years of age or under, but not including rides that may be coin-operated.
