840.01 ITINERANT VENDOR DEFINED.
   As used in this chapter, "itinerant vendor," means and includes all persons, both principals and agents, who engage or conduct in the City, either in one locality or in traveling from place to place, in a temporary or transient business of selling goods, wares and merchandise with the intention of continuing in the business in one place for not more than 120 days, and who, for the purpose of carrying on such business, use, lease or occupy, either in whole or in part, a room, building or other structure for the exhibition and sale of such goods, wares and merchandise.
