Licensees engaged in business within the City under this chapter shall comply with the following regulations, which regulations shall be printed upon the back of the license issued by the City Clerk:
(a) Every licensee, upon the request of any person to whom goods, wares or merchandise are offered for sale, shall exhibit the license issued by the City Clerk and permit such person to examine the same.
(b) Every licensee shall exhibit his or her license to any police officer, marshal or officer of the City upon demand.
(c) No licensee shall sell or offer for sale any article or commodity purporting to be in a quantity of a standard weight or measure, whether or not in the original package, unless the same is actually of the weight or measure purported.
(d) No licensee shall shout or call out his or her wares in a loud, boisterous or unseemly manner to the disturbance of the residents or dwellers in the City, nor shall any licensee use any horn, bell or other noisemaking device to call attention to his or her wares.
(e) No licensee shall sell or offer for sale any unsound, unripe or unwholesome food or defective, faulty, incomplete or deteriorated article or merchandise. However, if the applicant for any license sets forth in his or her application that he or she proposes to sell certain faulty or defective merchandise for a price reduced from the usual and regular cost of the article, such fact shall be endorsed upon his or her license, and upon exhibition of such license to the buyer, such sale may be made if the article is other than food or material for food.
(f) No licensee shall stop or remain in any one place upon the streets, alleys or public places of the City longer than is necessary to make a sale to a customer wishing to buy, nor shall any licensee stop or remain upon any private property within the City without the consent of the owner thereof or some person having authority to grant such permission.
(g) No licensee shall, during school hours, sell or offer for sale any merchandise upon the streets, alleys or public places of the City contiguous or adjacent to any property used for school purposes and within 200 feet of such property.
(h) No licensee shall sell or offer for sale any merchandise upon the streets, alleys or public places within the City other than during the following prescribed hours:

February through March 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
April 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
May through August 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
September 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
