836.06 LIMITATIONS ON ISSUANCE OF LICENSES.
No license required by this chapter shall be issued to any person who has been convicted of a felony or to any person who has been convicted of any misdemeanor pertaining to a sexual deviation or moral turpitude, except that the Mayor and Council may order the City Clerk to issue a license when it appears to the Mayor and Council that such applicant is presently a law abiding citizen and that the issuance of the license is not likely to adversely affect the health, welfare, morals or safety of the people of the City. However, nothing contained in this section shall be interpreted to exempt the person issued a license pursuant to this chapter from complying with all of the other requirements of this chapter and other ordinance provisions of the City.
