836.03 BOND.
   Upon the filing of a license application and the sealing of the weights and measures, if weights and measures are used, the applicant shall present to the City Clerk, for his or her approval, a bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), with two sufficient sureties, who shall appear before the City Clerk and justify as such sureties, if so required by the City Clerk. Such bond shall be conditioned upon full compliance with this chapter and all ordinances of the City and the payment of all fines, penalties and costs which may be imposed by any court of competent jurisdiction for a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or any ordinance of the City. However, the City Clerk may accept a bond from a corporation covering its employees who are licensees under this chapter if such bond meets all of the other requirements of this section and is in an amount equal to or in excess of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per employee.
