822.17 DISCRETION OF COUNCIL.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require Council to approve any application, nor to limit the discretion granted to Council by Section 17 of Act 8 of the Public Acts of 1933 (Extra Session), as amended (M.C.L.A. 436.17; M.S.A. 18.988), except as expressly provided for in this chapter.
