806.06 DRAINAGE OF LIQUID WASTES.
   (a)   Where the washing of motor vehicles is done or carried on, all liquid wastes from such operation shall be intercepted before entering a sewer by a suitable catchbasin properly trapped and vented. Such wastes shall not drain over or into any street, alley, sidewalk, courtyard or paved approach, and no person shall throw or discharge from any lot or building any water, fluid or liquid substance so as to affect injuriously the surface of the street or sidewalk or so as to make it unsafe for travel.
   (b)   A separate offense under this section shall be deemed committed each day the condition caused by any such discharge is allowed to remain after notice by the police to abate. Any owner or occupant of premises may, by permission of the Plumbing Inspector, construct a drain or hollow pavement for the purpose of allowing such water or fluid substance to pass off.
