This chapter shall apply to the parking areas of the following shopping centers located in the City:
(1) Sears Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of Dix and Southfield;
(2) Lincoln Park Plaza Shopping Center, located on the west side of Fort Street between New York and Moran Streets;
(3) Foodland Store, located at the southeast corner of Dix and Champaign Streets;
(4) Murray's Auto Supply located at 2035 McKinley Street;
(5) A & P Food Store, located at the northwest corner of Fort and Champaign.
(b) Each of the shopping centers, through its respective owner or person in charge of the general operation and control of the parking area, has heretofore, in writing, requested this chapter, and such written requests are on file with the City. This chapter has been enacted by the Mayor and Council pursuant to the authority contained in and in conformity with Act 235 of the Public Acts of 1969, as amended (M.C.L.A. 257.941 through 257.943).
