Should any change or error in the records created or maintained pursuant to or in furtherance of this chapter result in any retiree, retiree's spouse, beneficiary or health insurance dependent receiving from the PF Health Benefits Fund more or less than would have been received had the records been correct, the Controller shall correct such error and, as far as is practicable, shall adjust the amount of the health care benefit in such manner that the equivalent of the benefit to which such retiree, retiree's spouse, beneficiary or health insurance dependent was correctly entitled shall be paid.
