295.07 CITY SUBROGATED TO RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES.

In the event a person becomes entitled to health benefits payable from funds provided pursuant to this chapter, as a result of an accident or injury caused by the act of a third party, the City shall be subrogated to the rights of such person against such third party to the extent of the health benefits which the City pays or becomes liable to pay.
