(a) Effective July 1, 1983, any member who attained or attains fifty-five years of age and has from ten through twenty-seven years of credited service may retire on a reduced or prorated pension, as provided in Section 294.14, upon his or her written application to the Retirement Commission setting forth at what time, not less than thirty days or more than ninety days subsequent to the execution and filing thereof, he or she desires to be retired. Upon his or her retirement, he or she shall receive a retirement allowance provided for in Section 294.14.
(b) Effective July 1, 1983, any member who has attained or attains fifty years of age and has thirty or more years of credited service, or fifty-five years of age and has twenty-eight or more years of credited service, or sixty years of age and has ten years of credited service, may retire at full pension upon his or her written application to the Commission setting forth at what time, not less than thirty days or more than ninety days subsequent to the execution and filing thereof, he or she desires to be retired. Upon his or her retirement, he or she shall receive a retirement allowance provided for in Section 294.14.
(c) Effective September 1, 1987, any member who attained or attains fifty years of age and has twenty-eight years or more of credited service, or sixty years of age and has ten years of credited service, may retire at full pension upon his or her written application to the Commission setting forth at what time, not less than thirty days or more than ninety days subsequent to the execution and filing thereof, he or she desires to be retired. Upon his or her retirement, he or she shall receive a retirement allowance provided for in Section 294.14.

(d) Effective, January 3, 1993, all employees who are vested in the Employees Retirement System, excluding District Court members, may retire under the Early Retirement Incentive Plan, provided that they qualify under the terms and conditions of the Plan.
