The Retirement Commission shall adopt such mortality, service, compensation and other tables of experience as required in the operation of the retirement system on an actuarial basis. For purposes of adjusting any benefit or limitation under Section 415 of the Internal Revenue Code, which is hereby incorporated by reference, the mortality table used shall be the table prescribed by the United States Secretary of the Treasury in accordance with Section 415(b)(2)(E)(v) of the Internal Revenue Code. Notwithstanding any provision of the retirement system to the contrary, benefits and contributions shall be limited in accordance with Section 415 of the Internal Revenue Code.
