Funds for the operation of the Housing Commission may be provided by Council, but the Commission shall, as soon as possible, reimburse the City for all money expended by it from the revenue received from the sale of bonds. However, all funds for the operation of the Commission shall be held, accounted for and dispersed under the same procedures and by the same officer of the City as are the general funds of the City pursuant to the City Charter.
