274.02 COMPOSITION; TERMS OF OFFICE; COMPENSATION; VACANCIES.
   The Housing Commission shall consist of five members to be appointed by the Mayor. City employees and/or officials, other than elected officials, are declared eligible for appointment to the Commission. The term of office of the members of the Commission shall be five years. Members of the first Commission existing under this chapter shall be appointed for the terms of one year, two years, three years, four years and five years, respectively, and annually thereafter one member shall be appointed for a term of five years. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation and may be removed from office by the appointing authority. Any vacancy in office shall be filled by the Mayor for the remainder of the unexpired term.
