At the first general election following enactment of this chapter, three (3) trustees shall be elected to initial four (4) year terms and the other two (2) trustees shall be elected to initial two (2) year terms. The county clerk shall, on or before the first Tuesday in June of the year in which the election is to be held, designate which three (3) positions on the board will consist of four (4) year terms and which two (2) positions will consist of two (2) year terms. When the initial terms expire, subsequent terms for each position are for four (4) years. (1983 Code § 2.10.040; amd. 2003 Code)
