It shall be the duty of the sheriff, with the advice and assistance of the Pioche fire department, to investigate all buildings, which they might deem dangerous to property or to life or health, or which would be unfit for human habitation; and if, in the judgment of the Pioche fire department, said buildings or structures are dangerous to property or to health or life, or are a fire menace, to cite the condition existing to the board of trustees of the town of Pioche, to be abated as a nuisance, by instituting proceedings under Nevada Revised Statutes section 244.360.
