A. Misdemeanors Designated: The commission of any act within the county, outside the limits of any incorporated city therein, or the failure to perform any act within the county, which is made a misdemeanor by the laws of the state, is declared to be and shall constitute a misdemeanor. B. Penalty Imposed: Any person, firm or corporation who shall be convicted of a misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment 1 .
