(A) The county reserves the right to close or limit access to county-owned parking lots during special events. Appropriate signs and/or barriers would be placed at all entrances of the affected county-owned parking lot(s).
(B) Requests for special event parking must be submitted in writing to the County Manager's office for approval. The request must be submitted at least two weeks before the special event.
(C) If the request is denied, the County Manager's decision may be appealed to the Board of Commissioners.

Any motor vehicle found parked in violation of this chapter may be removed or towed away from the county-owned property, by or under the direction of the designated county enforcement official, to a storage area or garage. The owner of the vehicle shall be deemed to have appointed the designated county enforcement official as his or her agent for the purpose of arranging for the transportation and safe storage of the vehicle and accepting a warehouse receipt from the person or firm providing the transportation and storage. The owner of the vehicle, before obtaining possession thereof, shall pay to the county all reasonable costs incidental to the removal and storage of the vehicle.
