(A) If any applicant for a journeyman electrician's license has been granted an electrical journeyman's license in the City prior to the date of the current application for license and has not, in the meantime, left his trade as a journeyman electrician, then such license shall be considered as a renewal and the renewal fee provided for in Section 1468.06(E) shall be collected.
(B) If a journeyman electrician licensed by the City enters the Armed Forces of the United States his journeyman electrician's license will be considered renewed for the duration of his active duty. However, he must reapply for his license within six months from the date of separation from the Armed Forces. Proof of his date of separation shall be presented at the time of application.
(C) If a journeyman electrician licensed by the City has taken up residence outside of the jurisdiction of the City, he shall post a letter of absenteeism with the Electrical Inspector's office. Upon his return to the area, he shall submit a written affidavit to the Electrical Inspector's office as proof that he has not left his trade during his absence. Upon submission of such written proof, his electrical journeyman's renewal license shall be issued without examination.
