(A) The paid holidays for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows:
New Year's Day Labor Day
President's Day Thanksgiving Day
Martin Luther King Day Friday after Thanksgiving Day
Good Friday 1/2 day Christmas Eve
Memorial Day Christmas Day
Independence Day 1/2 day New Year's Eve
(B) The paid vacation time for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows:
None the first year
Second year 1 week
Years 2 through 7 2 weeks
Years 8 through 14 3 weeks
Years 15 through 24 4 weeks
Years 25 plus 5 weeks
Vacation time cannot be accumulated from one year to the next, but must be taken in the year that it is earned.
(C) The paid sick leave for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: One and one- quarter days per month of service accumulated without limit.
(D) The paid disability compensation for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: Fully paid injury leave (not deducted from sick leave) for up to twelve months for employees injured on the job once they qualify for temporary total disability payments from the Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
(E) The severance pay for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: Upon termination, an employee may cash in unused sick leave at the rate of one day for each five days accumulated.
(F) The funeral leave for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: Three days per occurrence for the immediate family, defined as the spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, child, step-child, son-in-law or daughter-in-law of the Clerk of Council. Sick leave may be used for any other relative subject to Council approval.
(G) The medical insurance average for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows:
Employer paid hospital/surgical, major medical and prescription drug coverage:
$ 100.00 deductible per person on major medical
$ 200.00 deductible per family on major medical
$ 2.00 co-pay (non-generic) on prescriptions
If the Clerk waives medical coverage through the City, the Clerk shall be paid an annual lump sum payment equal to five hundred dollars ($500.00) after one full year of service.
(H) The life insurance for the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) with additional optional employee and dependent coverage available at the employee's expense.
(I) The pay range of the Clerk of Council shall be twenty-three thousand dollars ($23,000.00) to twenty-nine thousand dollars ($29,000.00). There shall be a performance evaluation after the first six months and the first 12 months and annually thereafter. The Clerk of Council shall be eligible for annual salary increases based on performance.
