(A) Effective the first day of the first month after the completion of thirty days of employment, the City shall pay the entire premium of a five thousand dollar ($5,000) group life insurance policy for each employee.
(B) This section shall not apply to elected officials, members of boards and commissions, provisional employees, temporary or seasonal employees who do not work 12 months per year, and students who are employed on a part- time basis.
