(A) The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue work uniforms to employees performing manual labor in the Departments of Public Works and Utilities and to the meter repairmen employed in the Police Department.
(B) The work uniforms shall consist of five work shirts, five pairs of work pants and five coveralls for each employee. Work uniforms shall be maintained by the employee and shall at all times remain the property of the City.
(C) The Mayor is hereby authorized to establish suitable regulations governing the use of such work uniforms.
(D) This section shall not apply to those employees of the Department of Utilities already covered by the provisions of Section 236.03.
