208.01   PUBLIC RECORDS.
   (A)   Access to Public Records. City officials and employees shall make available for inspection and copying public records in accordance with this ordinance and any applicable state law.
   (B)   Adoption of the City of Lima Records Management Policy. There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of public records requests and records retention, the City of Lima Records Commission Records Management Policy dated September 10, 2007, and all supplements, forms and standards contained therein. The Clerk of Council, and each department within the City, shall keep complete copies of the Records Retention Policy on file for inspection by the public.
   (C)   Accounts. All fees are due at the time the copy is provided. At the discretion of the City Department Head or designee a frequent requestor may establish a charge account with the appropriate City Department. Any time an account is more than 30 days overdue, the account will be closed and the requestor will have to pay any fees due and begin paying in advance or at the time of delivery for any future requests.
