The City Police Department and the City Building Department are each designated the public agency and each department is authorized to carry out the provisions of this subchapter or the provisions of I.C. 9-22-1-1 through I.C. 9-22-1-32, and a regular member of the City Police Department and the City Building Inspector are the officers of their respective departments that are authorized to carry out the provisions of this subchapter and the provisions of I.C. 9-22-1-1 through I.C. 9-22-1-32.
