§ 92.01 CITY'S AUTHORITY.
   (A)   City's authority to regulate. The city may regulate the conduct, or use or possession of property which might endanger the public health, safety or welfare of its citizens.

   (B)   Preservation of public peace and order. The city may establish, maintain and operate a police and law enforcement system to preserve public peace and order and may provide facilities and equipment for that system.

   (C)   Authority to regulate air and sound. The city may regulate the introduction of any substance or odor into the air, or any generation of sound.

   (D)   Authority to regulate public gatherings. The city may regulate public gatherings, such as shows, demonstrations, fairs, conventions, sporting events and exhibitions.

   (E)   Authority to establish police and law enforcement systems. The city may establish, maintain and operate a police and law enforcement system to preserve public peace and order and may provide facility and equipment for that system.

   (F)   Authority to establish firefighter and fire prevention system. The city may establish, maintain and operate a firefighting and fire prevention system and may provide facilities and equipment for that system.
