(A) There shall be two classes of building sewer permits:
(1) Residential/commercial sewer permit: For residential and commercial service producing only sanitary sewage; and
(2) Industrial sewer permit: For service to establishments producing industrial sewage.
(B) In either case, the owner or his or her agent shall make application on a form furnished by the city. The permit application shall be supplemented by any plans, specifications or other information considered pertinent in the judgment of the Superintendent.
(C) A permit and inspection fee of $25 for a residential or commercial building permit and $50 for an industrial building sewer permit shall be paid to the city at the time the application is filed.
(D) The permit and inspection fee shall be in addition to any applicable tap fee. Also, an additional fee of $20 shall be charged for each inspection necessitated by an applicant's failure to properly install the sewage line and connection to the public sewer system.
