Fire hydrants shall not be used to obtain water for construction purposes, unless special permission is obtained, in writing, from the superintendent. All such users shall use a fire hydrant water meter and make a security deposit with the superintendent of an amount equal to the connection charge for a one inch (1") water service connection. Charges for water used shall be at the commercial rate provided in subsection 5-4-3D of this title. (Ord. SWO-2014-9, 12-2-2014)
