A. It shall be unlawful to conduct the business of dealing in secondhand property in the Township except from premises for which dealing in secondhand property is a permitted retail business use under the Cook County Zoning Ordinance, for which a special use permit has been issued under the Cook County Zoning Ordinance for dealing in secondhand property as a retail business use.
B. An estate sale may be conducted by a business that regularly conducts estate sales as a business entity.
C. A garage sale license under this Chapter is not required for any garage sale conducted within the corporate limits of a city or village within Leyden Township that regulates garage sales. (Ord. TO-99-8, 6-8-1999; amd. Ord. 2019-7, 5-14-2019)
