Application for a license under this Chapter shall be made in conformity with general requirements specified by the Town Supervisor, and shall include but shall not be limited to the following items:
A. Type of business.
B. Location of business.
C. Statement by applicant that the applicant has not been convicted of receiving stolen property in violation of the laws of the State of Illinois; or if applicant is a corporation, a statement by an officer of the corporation that none of applicant’s officers, stockholders or employees has been convicted of receiving stolen property in violation of the laws of the State of Illinois.
The Supervisor shall direct the issuance of licenses only to such persons as shall produce satisfactory evidence of good character and responsible standing. (Ord., 1962; amd. Ord. TO-2022-13, 9-13-2022; Ord. TO-2023-1, 2-14-2023)
