A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk being marked and designated as the "Uniform Plumbing Code, 1979 Edition", was amended and published by International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and is hereby adopted as the plumbing code of the city controlling the erection, installation, operation, addition, repair, relocation, replacement, maintenance or use of any plumbing system within the city, providing penalties for violation of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such uniform plumbing code, and said uniform plumbing code referred to and adopted is made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter.
