3-5-2: ADVISORY COMMITTEE:
There shall be an advisory committee to the Lewistown ambulance service, composed of five (5) members, nominated by the city manager and approved by the city commission, who shall hold their positions for a period of two (2) years. The terms of the members shall be staggered, so that each year, on July 1 two (2) members will be appointed. The city manager shall be a member of the committee, and shall so serve during his term of office as city manager. (Ord. 1579, 12-18-1989; amd. Ord. 1663, 1-3-2000; Ord. 1664, 1-3-2000)
The advisory committee shall have representation from the Central Montana Hospital, the Lewistown city commission, the Fergus County board of commissioners and the public at large. (Ord. 1579, 12-18-1989; amd. Ord. 1664, 1-3-2000)
The presiding officer of the advisory committee shall be the city manager. The ambulance director shall attend all meetings and advise or report to the committee. (Ord. 1579, 12-18-1989; amd. Ord. 1663, 1-3-2000)
The advisory committee shall meet as needed, and may establish rules of procedure or policies to govern its operation or the operation of the Lewistown ambulance service.
