(A) No person shall operate or maintain a telephonic alarm system which automatically transmits an audible signal to any city police department or fire department telephone line without first obtaining a permit as required by this chapter.
(B) Any person who presently has and maintains a telephonic alarm system which automatically transmits an audible signal through the Lewistown police department or fire department telephone line shall, within thirty (30) days after the effective date of this chapter, obtain a permit as required by this chapter.
