The building official is authorized to establish regulations governing the control of traffic through and around areas of construction or maintenance work being done within the public right of way. Said regulations shall be maintained on file in the office of the building official. The scope of said traffic control regulations shall include, but not be limited to, the size, coloring, wording, illumination and placement of warning devices such as signs, barricades, warning lights and such other devices as may be deemed appropriate.
