For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms, phrases and words shall have the meanings given herein:
FOODS, DRINKS AND LIKE ITEMS: Only those items prepared and sold for immediate consumption and in which it is reasonably conceivable that the container is to be thrown away or discarded. They will in no instance mean the usual packaged foods or drinks usually sold in grocery stores or markets for home preparation and consumption.
TO LITTER: The throwing, scattering, deposition, or dropping of any waste materials, such as paper, containers, boxes, bottles, cans, wrappers, or like items of whatsoever material or whatsoever use, upon any street, public way, alley, public premises, and/or sidewalks, or upon private premises.
