The owner of any animal which has been sold under the provisions of this chapter shall have the right to redeem the same within seven (7) days after the sale by paying the purchaser, or other person who acquired the same from the purchaser, the registration fee, the sum for which said animal sold and two dollars ($2.00) per day for each day after the sale of such animal.
