(A) Before any animal is released from the pound, the animal control officer shall collect from the person claiming or buying such animal the sum as set by resolution by the city commission for each day the animal is confined. In addition, the person claiming or purchasing the animal will pay the registration fee if not already registered and all associated fees including altering and vaccination. (Ord. 1704, 7-5-2005)
