6-2-15: ANIMALS TO BE IMPOUNDED:

Animals in violation of any section of this chapter may be seized and impounded by the animal control officer or by such person as the city manager may appoint for that purpose. The impoundment of any animal under this section shall not relieve the owner thereof from prosecution for violations of this chapter. (Ord. 1676, 3-6-2000)
