5-1-12: SUSPENSION AND REVOCATION:
Whenever the city manager shall determine that any licensee under this title is conducting business in a manner detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare, the manager may suspend the license issued by the city by serving notice of the suspension on the licensee, or on the person in charge at the licensee's place of business. At the next regular meeting of the city commission, or at any special meeting called to consider the suspended license, the city manager shall report the suspension, and the reasons for the suspension, to the city commission. Notice of the meeting shall be served on licensee with the notice of suspension. The city commission may then continue the suspension for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, or may revoke the license issued by the city. The city commission's order concerning the license shall be recorded in the minutes of the city commission, and if the license is suspended or revoked, notice of the city commission's order shall be served on the licensee, or on the person in charge of the licensee's place of business.
