(a) For the purpose of all municipal elections of the City, the City Council shall divide the City into election precincts, shall number the precincts, shall number and establish the boundaries thereof and shall designate one voting place in each precinct, which place shall be established as nearly as possible at the point most convenient for the voters of the precinct. The City shall have at least one voting precinct and each precinct shall have but one voting place therein.
(b) The City shall keep available at all times during business hours in City Hall at a place convenient for public inspection a map or maps of the City with current boundaries of all precincts.
(c) The City Council shall provide for making the precincts coincide, as nearly as possible, to the boundaries of the voting precincts fixed by the County Commission for all State and county elections. (Ord. 279. Passed 4-6-19.)
