(a) Authorization for all City of Lewisburg Fire Department vehicles and firefighters to operate Class A vehicles shall be designated by the Fire Chief and the State Fire Marshal's Office. Vehicles authorized by WV Code §17C-15-26 shall have red flashing warning lights and an audible signaling device, such as a siren, whistle or bell capable of emitting sound audible from a distance of not less than five hundred (500) feet.
(b) Upon receipt of written notification from the Fire Chief of the fire department to the State Fire Marshal requesting that an Emergency Vehicle Permit be revoked, the State Fire Marshal shall cause the permit to be revoked.
